QAS carried out the replacement of the Inorganic Chemistry building’s original 1950s single-glazed windows with modern, thermally efficient units. The key challenge, set by the university, was to upgrade performance dramatically while keeping the window aesthetic faithful to the building’s character — a balance we achieved through careful profile selection and sightline matching.
